Hillary Clinton is set to make a cameo appearance on Comedy Central's critically acclaimed show "Broad City" this week

The teaser for the episode, "Hail to the Kween," heralds "that a very special guest comes to 'Broad City' without specifically naming the Democratic presidential front-runner.

Clinton shot her cameo in December, then tweeted a photo with the stars and creators of the show Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer and producer Amy Poehler, Variety reported.

While sitting on a panel at the SXSW festival in Austin over the weekend, an audience member asked Glazer and Jacobson why they chose to film an episode with Clinton, stating that she assumed their beliefs would align closer with Bernie Sanders, the Verge news outlet reported.

“We’re not making a political stance here. It was really more that this is something Ilana’s character would do. And Hillary, regardless of where we stand — and we love Hillary — Hillary is such an iconic figure right now and she has been,” Jacobson responded.

"We're trying to make really good TV. I wonder how you'll feel after seeing it. I think you'll agree that it's a really good episode of TV because Hillary Clinton is in it," Glazer added.
