New England Patriots haters are taking selfies at the massage parlor in Florida where the team's owner Robert Kraft was charged with soliciting a prostitute, the New York Post reported on Monday.
“I am a Jets fan, so I’m here to take a picture,” said a man who identified himself as Steve to the New York Post from Jupiter, Florida.
“It’s so sad — you’re reading all this stuff, and Kraft was contributing to all of this,” Steve added.
Dozens of people were reported as taking selfies with their team's shirts and hats on the location, some shouting “Kraft cheese” as they posed.
Kraft faces two charges of soliciting a prostitute after a series of arrests encompassing 25 men.
Those arrested include billionaire Boston hedge-funder John Childs, golfer Johnny DelPrete and former Citigroup president John Havens. Kraft denies any wrongdoing.
Kraft is not important just to the Patriots, but also to the whole NFL league. Sports Illustrated reported that Kraft was the face of the 2011 NFL lockout compromise which allowed the games to continue.
Only time will tell if Kraft will continue to be a power-broker in professional football, and how.
