IDF forces overnight between Sunday and Monday raided the West Bank house of Mohand Halabi, the Palestinian terrorist who killed two Israelis on Saturday night in attack in Jerusalem's Old City. In a prior similar raid on the home in the village of Surda, north of Ramallah, security forces took the terrorist's father in for questioning. Following the second raid on the house, Palestinian residents of the village pelted the exiting Israeli troops with a barrage of stones. No injuries were reported in the incident. Police shot dead Halabi after he murdered the two Jewish men and wounded a mother and her son in the Old City of Jerusalem in a stabbing and shooting spree Saturday night. The victims were Rabbi Nehemia Lavie, 41, an Old City resident who worked at the Ateret Cohanim Yeshiva, near the place he was killed, and Aharon Benita from Beitar Illit.On Sunday, IDF forces clashed with Palestinian stone-throwers in Jenin on during an arrest raid in pursuit of a Hamas terrorist in the northern West Bank city, Israeli and Palestinian sources said.Palestinian witnesses said the Hamas member fled the scene, but two other men were arrested. Israeli security forces on a raid to arrest "wanted men involved in terrorist activities" were confronted by a crowd of Palestinians that threw explosives at them, the army said.Also early Monday morning, Palestinian rioters clashed with security forces in multiple locations across the West Bank.A Palestinian rioter was shot and killed during a violent clash with the IDF in Tulkarm on Sunday night.Yaakov Lappin and Reuters contributed to this report.
