A teenage Arab girl attempted to carry out a stabbing attack against security forces near Jerusalem's Isawiya neighborhood on Friday afternoon, police reported. According to initial investigations, the 15-year-old girl from the Arab neighborhood of Isawyia approached Border Police officers stationed near a gas station in the French Hill area and brandished a knife attempting to the stab forces. After the suspect failed to heed calls by security forces to halt and drop her weapon, they subdued the attacker without firing shots and later arrested her. There were no injuries to the Israeli side in the incident. Authorities were questioning the teen.
