Israel's UN envoy Ron Prosor slammed the security council's silence during the most recent uptick in violence against Israelis.
He showed the council recent cartoons published on Fatah's official Facebook page, encouraging Israeli Arabs to run over Jews with their cars "in order to protect al-Aksa."
"Complacency breeds disaster. The international community has done nothing but be complacent, while the blood of Israelis is being spilled," Prosor said to the council."
"I remind the Security Council that beyond the personal tragedy that results from terror, every attack has a ramification."
Prosor requested that the council condemn the recent attacks and increasing incitement by Palestinian Authority leadership.
He spoke just two days after IDF soldier Sgt. Almog Shiloni and Dalya Lamkus were killed in separate terror attacks within a matter of hours, the former in Tel Aviv and the latter near Alon Shvut in the West Bank. Several other victims were badly wounded in the attacks.
Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for both attacks. Police and security services went on high alert for copycat attacks across the country.
