Qatari based educational software teaches users to hate Jews
Educational software from a Qatar-based developer teaches users that Jews attempted to assassinate the Muslim prophet Mohammed and that the entirety of Israel is under "occupation," the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) reported Wednesday.
The software, which depicts a male cartoon character wearing a black-and-white kafiya (traditional Arab male headdress) speaking to a female friend painting the "Land of Palestine," explains that areas spanning from Haifa to Tel Aviv to the Negev are "under occupation by the Jews."
The title of the first lesson is called "Palestine is Free."
"Wow, what vast areas," the male character named Muhannad exclaims. "Even though the Jews are very cowardly," he adds.
"The Jews occupied the Muslims' country very easily," his female counterpart Salma replies, because "the Muslims have been remiss in taking care of matters of their religion."
Muhannad continues by saying, "I hate the Jews so much because they cursed Allah.... and tried to kill the prophet Mohammed."
The software then prompts users to play a mix and match game where participants must place the "correct information" onto a map of Israel with options such as "The Jews are the slayers of the prophet" and "The Jews violate agreements."
In another chapter contained within the program called "Our duty towards Gaza," Muhannad appears again with another kafiyah clad character who expresses distress at "what the Jews are doing to our Muslim brothers" within the coastal enclave.
'The Jews are criminals," Muhannad responds. "They are killing them (Gazans) mercilessly."
"Oh Allah, support our brothers in Gaza and destroy the Jews," he adds.
