Equipment used in the production of weapons was discovered in a West Bank Palestinian village just south of Jerusalem in a joint operation between the IDF and Israel Police on Tuesday night.
Three suspects were arrested and police forces seized multiple makeshift weapons, cartridges and ammunition from the scene during their search. The weapon producing machinery was destroyed by the security forces.
"Israel Police operates in Judea and Samaria in every place and at all times against the phenomenon of producing and possession of makeshift weapons," said the police in a statement.
The suspects were taken into custody for further questioning.
