Suspected terrorist attack foiled in Hebron: Palestinian woman arrested with knife

None wounded during incident near Cave of the Patriarchs.

Israel security forces arrested a 27-year-old Palestinian woman near the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron Saturday afternoon after a security inspection revealed she was carrying a knife, according to Jerusalem police.
Security personnel became suspicious after the suspect was asked to show her identification near the holy shrine.
When she refused, police officers apprehended the suspect and placed her in handcuffs.
During body searches, security forces knife discovered a knife in the suspect's possession.
Police said they suspected  the woman, from the nearby Palestinian city of Yatta, of planning to carry out stabbing attacks against security forces in the area.
The young woman was taken into custody for questioning after the incident. No one was injured in the event.
