The Jerusalem District Attorney’s Office announced Saturday night that it has filed an indictment against three Palestinians for plans to attack Likud members MK Moshe Feiglin and Temple Mount-activist Yehudah Glick with firecrackers and stones.
Majed Kriki, 21, Mohammed Bikri, 20, and Mahmoud Jaber, 18, all of east Jerusalem, planned to enter the Temple Mount on October 29 and to stay over night in anticipation of Feiglin and Glick visiting the area the next morning, according to the indictment.
They allegedly planned to attack Feiglin and Glick with firecrackers and stones in order to injure and intimidate them. After the attack, they intended to sprint into the Aksa Mosque and mix in with worshipers in order to escape when morning prayers concluded, the indictment said.
The plot was foiled when Kriki was arrested.
Al three were indicted for conspiracy to injure a person using weapons and with nationalistic motivation.
