Fresco launches 'Particle Accelerator'
The founding artistic director of Fresco, choreographer Yoram Carmi, asks, "How can we break free from the technology than enmeshes us, that obsessively gathers data on us in every possible way? We're like particles in an accelerator, condemned to crash into one another."
Carmi's new Particle Accelerator asks the question as nine dancers interact in the 'particle accelerator' to music by J.S. Bach, Phillip Glass and Chopin, among others.
Carmi established Fresco in 2002, and the company has been based in Holon
since 2006.
Particle Accelerator is on a collision course with the Suzanne Dellal Dance
Center on February 21 and 22.
