Jerusalem-based fringe theater Micro takes on Thomas Mann with Vows (Nedarim), director Irina Gorelik's adaptation of Nobelist Mann's monumental Joseph and His Brothers. The play explores faith, passion and family through the story of Jacob, Rachel, the love of his life, and Leah, whom he's tricked into marrying, and then through the story of Joseph and Potiphar's wife.
Vows began at the Jerusalem Khan on November 1 and will play there again November 6 before moving to the Cameri in Tel Aviv on November 7 and 20.
