Ingredients: five very energetic, very talented, perfectly coordinated performers, Korean kitchen ranges, pots, pans, buckets, barrels, ladles, knives, a statue of the Kitchen God and a large clock.
Method: Blend all carefully, and keep an eye on the clock, because it all has be ready at six.
The result: About 90 minutes of non-stop action (mainly drumming), which this delicious show from Korea is all about. The performers drum with knives on boards, with ladles on barrels, with chopsticks on pots, with anything on anything that will produce a noise. In between, they juggle, conjure, do martial arts, pull in the audience - oh, and yes, they actually cook something. The good-humored kind of slapstick abounds, and above all, these engaging young performers look like they're having fun, too. They've even taken the trouble to learn a few words in Hebrew.
