The Israeli Opera has added a performance to its run of Leonard Bernstein and Jerome Robbins's West Side Story next month, due to public demand. The popular musical will be at the Tel Aviv Performing Arts Center for 16 shows, from September 2-16, as part of its international tour marking its 50th anniversary. It will be staged according to its original choreography with the original songs, under the direction of Joey McKneely. The Ra'anana Symphonette will accompany the touring musicians.
