Celebrating 50 years

Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate 50 years of beautiful collaboration with six performances around Israel.

If you love dance, classical music or the two together, this weekend will be a good time to hit the theater.
Music director and conductor Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra will celebrate 50 years of beautiful collaboration with six performances around Israel.
The shows will boast an impressive list of guest artists, namely Ido Tadmor and dancers, who will present an interpretation of the Bolero.
Mehta began his career in Bombay, under the wing of his musically gifted father, who founded the Bombay Symphony Orchestra.
His path to acclaim included stops in Vienna, Montreal, Liverpool, New York and Berlin.
Now he is taking a moment to take stock and enjoy the long relationships he has developed with three internationally acclaimed orchestras, including the Israelis.
These performances are sure to be high in spirits and laden with talent.
