Some people purport that on the seventh day, God rested. Truth is, the legend goes, that God sat around with his buddies, had a few beers and laughed his rear off at the corny little invention just created. It's a far cry from a god with a sense of humor to a human with one, but four such funnymen came here from America to make sure that comedy would have a solid showing in Israel.
LA-based comic Avi Liberman put together the Crossroads Comedy Tour a few years back to help raise money for the Crossroads Center for at-risk Anglo Youth. Liberman has a decent track record for bringing over top-notch talent and this year was no different, with a solid line-up of Dan Naturman, Lowell Sanders, a.k.a. The Pickle, and Harland Williams.
The audience seemed compelled to laugh themselves silly, even to the detriment of their mental faculties - a sure sign of a great comedy show.
