What you get is the YiddiShpiel production of "A Zivug fun Himmel" or "Made in Heaven", starring Anat Atzmon and Gadi Yagil with skits by Yossi Banai, Ephraim Kishon, Itzik Manger, and others - translated and arranged by Ya'akov Alperin and directed by YiddiShpiel artistic director Shmuel Atzmon. There are two performances on November 22 and 23 at ZOA House in Tel Aviv with more to come in December. An operatic Saturday The Israel Opera wants to brighten Saturday mornings with "Golden Sabbath", a new series of songs from opera and musical theater especially for seniors. The four concert series starts November 26 with "Everything for Love" and ends February 28 with a selection from Purcell's opera "Dido and Aeneas". In between there's "The Elixir of Love" (17/12) and Mozart's "Women" (28/1/06). The performers are NIO singers and the Tel Aviv municipality is a co-sponsor of the initiative. Tickets are a pricey NIS 70-100 per concert.
