The sound of childhood in Holon

The 5th Sounds of Childhood festival gets underway at the Holon Theater from October 19-22 during Hol Hamoed Succot.

The fifth Sounds of Childhood festival gets underway at the Holon Theater from October 19-22 during Hol Hamoed Succot with 23 varied events ranging from a concert by 12 virtuosi violinists from Siberia, to performances by the Paradise Circus, a puppet Rapunzel, and the premiere of "Jack, a Mouse and Etc.," a dance choreographed by Neta Blumenthal. However the primary focus is on music and to that end there'll be special children's concerts by famous artists such as jazz drummer Arale Kaminski, a program hosted by TV personality Miki Haimovitch featuring new young talents, a concert by the Arab-Jewish Youth Orchestra and all sorts of musical "trips" such as a Latin American Village Carnival. There'll be free stuff in the Holon Theater foyer and a dance marathon of works created for children at the Mediateque, such as Dolly Smile by DeDeDance. Tickets are from NIS 40 - NIS 80.
