Avid fashionistas can revel in their field during the third Holon Fashion Week at the Holon Design Museum from October 24-27. The conference will look at the importance of the digital world to fashion and relate to fashion as a multi-disciplinary art form, and as an adjunct to its commercial applications.
Important visitors include whizz-kid super-designer Zac Posen, New York Times fashion writer Stephanie LaCava, stylist Alexandra McGuinness and actress/model Amber Anderson.
Anderson is the star and McGuinness the director of The Lotus Eaters, a feature film about models that will be screened at the Holon Cinematheque. Other films to be screen during the conference include Vidal Sassoon: the Movie and My Little Princess, a feature film about a little girl growing up in the shadow of her fashion photographer mother.
