President Obama stated, while speaking in Cairo on June 4, 2009, “The United States is not, and never will be, at war with Islam.” Since then he has made this same statement on numerous occasions. This is totally inaccurate. In truth, America is being lulled into a deep sleep as a result of our Islamic ignorance.
The State Department has put out an international warning for all United States citizens traveling abroad to be very cautionary in their travel arrangements through the end of August. U. S. Embassies are closing in many Middle Eastern countries from Algeria to Bangladesh. In true to form Islamic based terrorism, no one knows what is going to happen, nor do we know when or where. This is the worst form of terrorism, the unknown plan of attack.
Based on our so called “intelligence gathering,” we are in the midst of a major threat from a Yemen based Al-Qaeda stronghold located just east of Saudi Arabia. Interestingly, according to our current administration, when we sent our elite Navy Seals in to eradicate the existence of Osama bin Laden, we took to the streets shouting that the war on terror was somehow in its last days. Even our President said that the days of Al-Qaeda and the Taliban were numbered and their time was coming to an end.
Conversely, Al-Qaeda is growing as never before and has never been on the wane. The burning of our Embassy in Benghazi and the murders of four United States citizens, which included Ambassador Christopher Stevens, should send a resounding reminder that this terrorist organization is still well organized and has two goals, the destruction of the “Little Satan” Israel and the “Big Satan” America.
Bin Laden stated after 9/11 that more attacks against America were eminent. He warned multiple attacks would happen throughout our country. Two major indications of these promises have been quite apparent with the recent Boston Marathon bombings and the setting of the fire in Arizona that took the lives of 19 brave firefighters. The Palestinian jihadist group, Masada al Mujahedeen who claims responsibility for setting the Arizona fire stated, “We had previously announced an unconventional war against the occupation state of Israel, and then we escalated this war to reach its main supporter, America, so that it receives a major share of it, which will destroy their flora and fauna, with permission from Allah and then with our hands.”
When will America wake up and finally realize that we are, indeed, at war with Islam? We need not concentrate all our efforts solely in the Middle East as many terrorist organizations are already here on American soil. The Mexican drug cartels have been smuggling members of Hamas and Hezbollah into the United States for several years. Deals have been made using these terrorists to bring drugs here in exchange for allowing the Islamist extremists to set up elaborate networks of deadly cells which are spreading quickly through our nation like cancer.
Make no mistake. All is not well in America. All terrorist organizations have a common goal, the spreading of an ideology centered on a misguided belief that through heinous blood shed they will ultimately control the world. The following verse from the Qu’ran used by the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks, Kahlid Sheik Mohammed, and also Osama bin Laden in his “Declaration of War Against the Americans Occupying Land of Two Holy Places” states “…kill those who join other gods with God wherever ye shall find them; and seize them, besiege them, and lay wait for them with every kind of ambush…”
While we should not live our lives fearing the worst, we should live our lives alert and wisely. We should be very aware that just because we live in America we are not safe from the tentacles of terrorism. Wake up America! Believe the lie no more. It is time to take a stand against global terrorism and remove our heads from the sands of Islamic ignorance.
