Letter to the editor of the Jewish Journal

A reply to Rob Eshman, Jewish Journal Editor’s article, Sheldon: Improve Israel’s odds

To: Mr. Eshamn and Jewish Journal readership:

 Rob Eshman
Recently there was an impressive show up in Las Vegas, where money moguls got together to discuss the implications of the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement against Israel and how to attempt to combat it.

The BDS’s anti-Israel-anti-Semitic activities’ goal is to weaken and bring Israel down, and finally destroy it. This could be done it two ways:

1/ To boycott goods and services originate in Judea and Samaria in order to put pressure on Israel so she allows the establishment of a Judenrein-clean of Jew “Palestine,” which, in essence will be a Hamastan type “state” in the heart of the land of Israel and will bring Israel close to her destruction. AND

2/ Boycott all of Israel, divest from all of Israel and sanction all of Israel so Israel falls and no longer exists and is replaced with a “Palestine”.

To prove it the Arabs calling themselves “Palestinians” no longer call the land where Israel is located Israel. In essence, the destruction of Israel is already their mindset.

The BDS implications are dangerous to Israel. If the BDS-ers are not completely successful in bringing Israel down then, there may have to be a 3 states “solution”, a bleak situation for the Jews.

The BDS, which started in 2005, has been fought by very fine people and organizations way before this call to action meeting took place in Las Vegas. If the money moguls of the Las Vegas’ meeting and the heads of organizations who were called in to the meeting join forces with the already existing fine fighters, the added financial support could go a long way and the fight could become so much more effective.

Mr. Eshman, the Jewish Journal Chief Editor, is not a fighter for Israel and her true rights. His liberal views are rather troubling and he propagates them from the Jewish Journal’s pages and thus he is deceiving willing to be deceived Jewish readers.

If Mr. Eshman continues to go on believing and convincing others to believe that J Street, Jewish Voice for Pease, and other likeminded organizations – disruptive to Israel and can be called anti-Israel-anti-Semitic - are supporting and helping Israel in one way or another, he is fueling anti-Israel propaganda and helping the BDS-ers.

One can ask, did Mr. Eshman miss the signature at UCLA endorsing the BDS movement, a signature he probably endorses since he is a follower of the liberal agenda that long ago deserted its support for Israel?

And that brings me to mention the so called Jewish members of the Supreme Court judges who do not know what the capital of Israel is and that people who were born in Jerusalem were in fact born in Israel.  And so, these Jew-Am judges, with their decision not to allow a person born in Jerusalem to have stamped in his/her passport: “Born in Jerusalem, Israel” have de-facto deleted Jerusalem from the list of world’s capitals and left Israel capital orphan.

Instead of going along with the existing Congressional Ruling, stating that Jerusalem is the Capital of Israel, these hubris Jew-Am judges let their liberal views and their support for an anti-Israel, cunning president take over their senses. Their decision left Jerusalem in limbo, while overruling Congress. And here we think that there is a balance of power between the three branches in the land of the United States and the Supreme Court is not the Supreme Being!?

Of course, we, those who support justice and truth, expect that Congress overrules this maddening decision and returns to Jerusalem its Capital of Israel crown.

No matter what, the Jewish People really do not need you, Mr. Eshman, or for that matter the USA Supreme Court, to tell them what their capital is. The Jewish People know their ancient capital well. No nation on earth can dictate to another sovereign nation its choice of Capital, not even imperial Obama, some robe wearing Supreme Court judges, Tom Friedan, or you, Mr. Eshman.

The case of Jerusalem is the kind that excites the BDS to go on BDS-ing Israel; the writings of Eshman, Friedman and their like encourages the BDS’s actions and allow the BDS-ers to believe they are not only on the right pathway but in fact they are winning and they will end up bringing Israel down.

We strongly suggest you, Mr. Eshman and your liberal peers end the war on Israel or the financial moguls, with our, Israel supporters’ help, will bring the BDS down and you with it.

Oh’ I forgot, the land from the ‘River to the Sea’, Jerusalem is included, is legally – by undisputed international law - belongs to the Jewish People and I challenge you to prove to me it is not.
