Yes announces a significant enhancement in comprehensive sound quality for Yes+ and STING+ customers. The company will now support Dolby Digital audio standard, providing high-quality sound from various directions in its internet broadcasts. Yes's satellite broadcasts already support this standard, making it the first to bring it to Israel and a pioneer globally.

Dolby Digital is an advanced sound technology enabling immersive sound experience. Unlike stereo versions allowing sound from two directions, Digital Dolby provides 360-degree enveloping sound, creating a more realistic audio experience. The technology allows clear and distinct sound separation.

The new service, available at no extra cost and already accessible with thousands of contents, will enable a quality cinematic experience during viewing, requiring viewers to have a home theater system supporting this standard. Yes leads the internet television market with around 408,000 customers, constituting about 71% of the company's customer base.

Yes states that all contents available in Dolby sound quality will be marked with a "5.1" symbol. Additionally, in the app settings, users can set all content with this standard to play in Dolby quality by default.

As part of the initiative to upgrade viewing experience, Yes launches a new, free library for all its customers, including series and movies in 4K quality with higher viewing resolution. The library includes Yes's beloved original productions such as Fauda, The Chef, Sisters, Şampiyon, On the Spectrum, Berlin Blues, and more. Additionally, the library features movies like The Black, Past Lives, Fool's Paradise, Holy Spider, a documentary on Paul Simon, and several seasons of RuPaul's Drag Race. Yes was the first television company in Israel to enable its customers to watch content in 4K quality.
