With the start of the new civil year, 2024, global company L'Oreal unveiled a new hair drying technology at CES® 2024, designed in collaboration with professional stylists for both professional and home use.

AirLight Pro was developed in collaboration with Zuvi, a start-up founded by leading engineers and scientists, which utilizes infrared and air to achieve smoother, visually moisturized hair with faster drying times*. It achieves optimal heat flow for a variety of hair types while consuming 31%* less energy.

A team of over 100 engineers, designers, hairdressers, and scientists from L'Oreal's research and innovation division and Zuvi collaborated in the innovative industrial design of AirLight Pro, creating a professional hair drying tool that breaks performance barriers. AirLight Pro provides up to 33%* more hydrated hair, up to 59%* smoother and visually appealing hair, faster drying times, and an improved user experience based on feedback from leading professional hair stylists. Additionally, it is capable of consuming up to 31%* less energy. By utilizing the patented LightCare™ technology, Zuvi developed a product that utilizes infrared and fast-flowing air to efficiently dry hair, leaving internal moisture in the hair strands.

Contrary to conventional hair dryers with only thermal modes, AirLight Pro is equipped with a unique engine with 17 blades at high speed and patented infrared technology, powered by tungsten-halogen lamps designed for fast hair drying without excessive heat. Through efficient drying of water on the hair, it retains internal moisture at the ends, resulting in a smooth and shiny appearance. The technology has been tested by L'Oreal on over 500 people with different hair types.
