100,000 people visit parks, nature reserves over Pessah

Nearly 100,000 visitors traveled over the Pessah holiday to nature reserves and national parks throughout the country, according to the National Parks Authority.

The sites receiving the most visitors were: Caesarea with 2850 visitors, Ashkelon National park with 2650, Ein Gedi nature reserve with 2400, Masada also with 2400, Yarkon-Afek National Park with 2100, and Banias nature reserve with 1900 people.

The National Parks Authority predicted that a quarter of a million people would visit the parks on Wednesday.
