Abdullah, Sisi call for renewal of Israeli-Palestinian negotiations

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and King Abdullah II of Jordan called for the revival of Israeli-Palestinian peace negotiations, Israel Radio reports.
The two leaders released a joint statement Thursday at the end of their meeting in Jordan. They called to remove obstacles standing in the way of renewing the process, and work toward a two-state solution.
They also warned against a blow to the current status quo in Jerusalem.
The meeting marked Sisi's first visit to Jordan since assuming his presidential post.
