Aharonovitch : Holyland is just the tip of the iceberg

The Holyland real estate affair is only the tip of the iceberg of corruption in Israel, Public Security Minister Yitzhak Aharonovitch said Sunday.
"Senior Police echelons will accept responsibility and resolve these problems,"
Israel Radio quoted the minister as saying during a police rank award ceremony
Aharonovitch added that police investigators usually work away from the limelight, and that the media had a huge part in bringing their seldom exposed activities to public awareness.
At the ceremony, a notable promotion went to Ziva Agami, who received the rank of asistant commander. She was also given command of the
National Fraud Unit, currently tasked with investigating the Holyland affair.
