Am Shalem leader Rabbi Haim Amsalem rejected rumors that he had forfeited his candidacy in the Knesset race, accusing Shas of having deliberately spread the lies."Even as a joke this would not be funny," Amsalem said. "We're talking about a pitiful spin by pitiful who are used to telling lies to the public."
