Arab League official: 'We don't have info on freeze deal'

A senior Arab League official said that Arab countries have not yet received any official information on the details of the proposed freeze renewal deal being discussed by Israel and the United States, reported Israel Radio Sunday morning.
Hisham Yousef, the office director of the League's secretary general, told BBC Arabic that the proposed agreement contains elements that are unacceptable to the Arabs, among them the promise that the freeze will last three months and will not be renewed thereafter. He added that Arab states reject the possibility that Israel will receive US military equipment as part of the deal and that Washington will protect Israel in the international arena.
