Ariel University professors appointed to CHE committees

Chairman of the Council of Higher Education and Education Minister Gideon Sa’ar announced Wednesday the appointment of three faculty members from Ariel University to various committees of the council.
Prof. Alexander Bligh, head of Ariel’s Center for Middle East Studies, was appointed a member of the public administration and political science committee, while Prof. Sarah Ben-David, head of the criminology department at the institution, was nominated member of the behavioral sciences committee. Lastly, Prof. Shraga Shoval, head of the industrial engineering and management department, was appointed to the committee of industrial engineering and management.
The committees’ functions include examining requests from higher education institutions to open new programs, as well as applications for the establishment of new institutions.
