Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Saturday condemned the "vicious attack" on US Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi's husband, Paul.
Herzog, who meet with the Pelosis earlier in the week, said he was "relieved that my friends, who welcomed me so kindly this week, are safe."
"Attacks on elected officials and their families are attacks on democracy itself," the president added.
