On a special cargo flight dispatched from New York, El Al put photographs of individuals who are currently missing or abducted by Hamas terrorists, transforming each vacant spot into a silent plea for their safe return home.

Hamas terrorists kidnapped an estimated 222 people during their massacre on October 7, and continue to hold most of them hostage in Gaza. On Monday, Hamas released two hostages: Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, and Nurit Cooper, 79, on "health grounds." Hamas still holds both of the women's husbands. American-Israeli hostages Judith (Yehudit) Tai Raanan and her daughter Natalie Shoshana were released Friday.

The initiative, part of a collaboration between El Al and two humanitarian groups, Amudim Resources, and the Phoenix Group, aimed to draw international attention to the human aspect amidst the chaos of war.

The flight was also carrying essential tactical and medical supplies for IDF soldiers on the front lines.

The Jerusalem Post and OneFamily are working together to help support the victims of the Hamas massacre and the soldiers of Israel who have been drafted to ensure that it never happens again.
