Ashkelon: Twice as many patients as beds in hospital

The number of patients in Ashkelon's Barzilai Hospital is nearly double the amount of beds available, the hospital's Director Shimon Sharf told Israel Radio on Sunday.
Sharf said that this problem exists throughout the year. The Health Ministry responded that it is aware of the problem, which exists in many hospitals in Israel, especially in the winter.
