Maj.-Gen. (res.) Avraham Tamir will be laid to rest on Tuesday afternoon in a full military service at the military cemetery of Kiryat Shaul.Tamir died on Monday night in Tel Aviv, the IDF Spokesperson reported.Tamir served in the pre-state Haganah, the British armed forces during World War II and the 1948 War of Independence.
