Ayalon: Israel's reception of Romney legitimate

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said Monday that Israel's reception of presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney was legitimate and did not constitute interference in internal US politics.

Speaking to Israel Radio, Ayalon said that both current US President Barack Obama and former US president George Bush were welcome by Israel with open arms prior to their election victories, and that this only indicates a high level of cooperation between the two countries.
