Beersheba's Soroka University Medical Center dedicates fortified operating rooms

A year after Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, Beersheba’s Soroka University Medical Center dedicated on Tuesday new and fortified operating rooms.
From Operation Cast Lead through Operation Pillar of Defense and the latest campaign in Gaza, Soroka had to shut down eight operating theaters because they were not fortified, Soroka officials said.
Thanks to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews founded and headed by Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, the Moskowitz Foundation, the Levine Foundation, the Ministry for Negev and Galilee Development and Clalit Health Services, $7 million was made available to upgrade the operating rooms.
