The Belgian and Croatian foreign ministers will visit Israel Sunday.
Belgian FM Steven Vanackere will arrive in Israel Sunday evening on a three-day official visit. He will have a working breakfast with his counterpart, Minister of Foreign Affairs Avigdor Liberman, and meet with President Shimon Peres, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Chairperson of the opposition Tzipi Livni. Vanackere and his hosts will discuss various issues, including the Israel-Belgium bilateral relationship, the process with the Palestinians, the Iranian issue and the situation in the north.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, Mr. Gordan Jandrokovic, will also arrive in Israel on Sunday for an official visit, in which he will meet Peres, Netanyahu, Liberman, Livni, Minister of Industry Benjamin Ben-Eliezer and MK Moshe Matalon, head of the Knesset Friendship Caucus with Croatia.
At the meeting of the two foreign ministers, Liberman, who visited Zagreb in 2009, and Jandrokovic are expected to sign an economic cooperation agreement and a customs agreement, both aiming to increase economic cooperation between Israel and Croatia, which is in the advanced stages of joining the European Union.
