Better Place opens three new battery swap stations

Bankrupt electric car company Better Place announced on Sunday the opening of three new battery swap stations in Baka, Qastina and Anava. The company also moved a station from Poria to Eilabun.

Green EV, the company that took control of Better Place in the bankruptcy, was only obligated to keep 15 stations running. At the time of Better Place's Bankruptcy, customers feared that the battery swap stations would close, leaving their vehicles with a maximum distance of 120 km. before needing a lengthy recharge.

A week earlier, the company started customers for use of the battery swap station.
