Bombs in Syrian city of Homs kill at least 37

BEIRUT - Two car bombs killed at least 37 people including women and children near a busy roundabout in the central Syrian city of Homs on Tuesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said, raising an earlier estimate of the death toll.

One local security source gave a higher death toll, saying 42 people had been killed.

The Observatory also reported that 80 people were wounded in the explosions in the mainly Alawite Zahraa neighborhood.
