Border police began evacuating citizens from the site of the former Amona outpost early Thursday morning.
The mission was initiated in accordance with a decision by the Jerusalem District Court in order to enable the IDF and the Defense Ministry to evacuate the buildings and the infrastructure on the site.
Forces at the site faced harsh stone throwing from dozens of rioters. Youths burned tires and threw metal bars at the security forces, who used tear gas and other crowd dispersal tactics against them.
Five police and one citizen were wounded by the stone throwing and were evacuated to the hospital.
Two rioters have been arrested.
Dozens of protesters have gathered into two of the remaining structures, including many suspects, and the forces have begun evacuating them.
