Burns: US seeks Arab partnership on Libya

WASHINGTON - The United States is seeking an active partnership with Arab countries that would include financial help for any next steps on Libya by the United Nations, Undersecretary of State William Burns said on Thursday.
Burns said the US sought the partnership with Arabs "both in measures that would be taken and also in the financial support for them." He told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that options being discussed at the United Nations "are measures including a no-fly zone but not limited to that."
