Calif. man to plead guilty to buying guns for San Bernardino shooters

WASHINGTON - A California man accused of buying assault-style rifles used by a married couple to massacre 14 people in San Bernardino in 2015 has agreed to plead guilty to conspiring to provide material support to terrorists, the Justice Department said on Tuesday.
Enrique Marquez Jr, 25, of Riverside, a childhood friend of shooter Syed Rizwan Farook, allegedly planned attacks with him in 2011 and 2012 that were never carried out. He is scheduled to enter his guilty plea on Thursday in US District Court in California, the department said in a statement.
