Car crash kills IPS jailer, wounds 3 in Galilee Druze village

A young man performing his national service in the Israel Prison Service was killed and three of his friends seriously wounded in a car accident Saturday morning at the entrance to the village of Julis in the Galilee.
Tiran Navuani, 20, was rushed from the scene to a hospital in Nahariya, where he died shortly after. His three friends and another man wounded in the other car are all residents of the Galilee Druze village.
The IPS said on Saturday afternoon that Navuani had been serving in the IPS for a year and a half, and was stationed in the security prisoners branch of Hadarim prison.
