Channel 10 poll: Mofaz's Kadima wins 15 seats, Likud 32

Kadima, under the leadership of Shaul Mofaz, would garner 15 seats in the Knesset if general elections were held today, a Channel 10 poll released on Wednesday found. Earlier Wednesday, Mofaz defeated MK Tzipi Livni to become Kadima's new party leader.
According to the poll, the Likud party would win the election with 32 seats. The Labor party would grow to 15 seats, one more than Israel Beiteinu at 14 seats.
A theoretical party headed by Yair Lapid would garner 9 seats, while Defense Minister Ehud Barak's Independence party would fail to pass the threshold for receiving Knesset seats.
