Constitution Committee approves appeal exemption for few returning Israelis

The Israeli Constitutional Committee approved regulations Tuesday allowing the entry of Israeli citizens and permanent residents without an appeal to the Exceptions Committee.
The committee also approved the abolition of the Exceptions Committee as applied to recovered or vaccinated people leaving Israel.
The regulations were unanimously approved by members of the committee.
