About three or four million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be provided by Israel for the West Bank and Gaza Strip, a senior official from the Palestinian Authority told Israel Hayom over the weekend.
Officials from the PA's Health Ministry stated that in every agreement signed by Israel with vaccine companies, a certain percentage of the vaccines will be set aside for the PA and Gaza Strip.
The distribution plan was achieved through joint teamwork by Israeli and Palestinian professionals, according to Israel Hayom.
The Palestinian officials warned, however, that even with the vaccines that will be transferred from Israel, the UN and international organizations, there will still be a shortage of millions of doses.
