Dagan: Talk of attack on Iran could motivate nuclear push

Former Mossad chief Meir Dagan warned on Monday that all the talk about possible military action against Iran could unwittingly lead Tehran to redouble its efforts achieve nuclear armament. Dagan, who in the past came out forcefully against military action on Iran, reiterated that in his mind it should be the very last option.
Dagan arrived about an hour late for the conference devoted to Iran, complained about back pain, and then left about three minutes after speaking.
Another participant in the meeting, former Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) head Yaakov Perry, said that Israel should look to open some kind of line of communications with Iran to prevent dangerous miscalculations.
