Egyptians stage protest in Cairo against Mubarak verdict

Dozens of Egyptians gathered in a street near Cairo's Tahrir Square on Saturday, to protest a court verdict that cleared President Hosni Mubarak over the killing of protesters in the 2011 revolt that forced him from power.
Mubarak was sentenced to life in prison in 2012 for conspiring to murder 239 demonstrators, but an appeals case ordered a retrial.
Protesters shouted "down with the regime" and "down with Hosni Mubarak".
"The revolutionaries have returned to the Square", others chanted, saying they did not want either the old leadership or the Muslim Brotherhood, which came to power after Mubarak's ouster.
