Family of accidental shooting fatality to police: We are not mad, you did your duty

Ofek Ben Ari the daughter of Ofer Ben Ari, who was killed by police friendly fire during a stabbing terrorist in Jerusalem on Wednesday, said she was not angry at the police officers, who in their effort to kill two knife wielding terrorists also killed her father. 
"I am not angry at all at the police officers. They carried out their duty and tried to neutralize the terrorists. My father was a hero and I am sure that he is saluting the officers for their actions," Ben Ari's daughter Ofek said.
Jerusalem resident Ofer Ben- Ari, 40, a married father of two children, was pronounced dead on Wednesday in hospital in Jerusalem following emergency surgery for a bullet wound to his abdomen.
Two Israeli men died following the terrorist attack in Jerusalem on Wednesday afternoon, one after being accidentally shot by Border Police officers as they fired at and killed the two knife-wielding Palestinian terrorists near the Old City’s Jaffa Gate.
The second victim, Rabbi Reuven Biermacher, died of multiple stab wounds to the upper torso.
