IDF closes section of Gaza border for engineering work

Israeli farmers were earlier ordered not to work in areas near the Gaza border due to concerns of possible sniper fire.

Roads and agricultural area near the border with the Gaza Strip were closed by the IDF due to engineering work being conducted by the IDF near the border fence, the IDF Spokespersons Unit announced on Monday.
Israeli farmers were ordered not to work in areas near the Gaza border fence due to concerns of possible sniper fire on Monday.
"This is a life saving action," said the Gaza Division to the farmers. There are no other directives that have been issued to local residents.
The IDF Spokespersons Unit stated that there is no danger to towns in the area.
