Fight breaks out between 2 families following murder verdict in Jerusalem court

Following a verdict at Jerusalem Magistrate Court Wednesday afternoon in a murder case from four years ago, the families of the victim and defendant came to blows inside and outside the couthouse, resulting in two arrests and one injury, police said.

While details of the case and verdict remain unclear, National Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said after the judge presiding over the case announced the verdict approximately 10 members from each family began attacking each other.
Court security immediately broke up the melee and removed the families from the court, at which point Rosenfeld said the fighting continued outside the courthouse.
One person was lightly injured and two others were arrested when police arrived at the scene, he said.
