The Finance Ministry on Wednesday denied reports that the Mossad would be undergoing budget cuts. "Finance Minister Dr. Yuval Steinitz acknowledges the unique contributions of the Mossad towards the security of the state of Israel and especially values the wisdom, resourcefulness and courage of Mossad staff," the ministry said in a statement. The ministry went on to stress it had no intention of cutting the Mossad's budget and the issue is not being discussed.
